| Born Saunders Terrell in Georgia, the blind
harmonica player probably did more than anyone else to advance the art of harp
accompaniment - his harp could produce an astounding variety of sounds. He
worked alone until 1939, when he met guitarist and singer Brownie McGhee and
formed a partnership that would last until the 70s. He recorded with many other
people, including Cisco Houston and Woody Guthrie in the famous album of

oldest friends and most loyal associates, he has been with Belafonte as accompanist since
1950, when they first combined in a launching of the Belafonte folk song career. Millard
Thomas plays guitar and accompanies Belafonte on a large number of albums. Has made (as
far as I know) one record on his own, the RCA LSP1551
"Presenting The Millard Thomas Group". Member of The

| Member of The Belafonte Folk Singers , the Phoenix Singers and the Seafarers Chorus. (bass). Born in Jamaica. Roy is
a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the City College of New York and went to Italy on a Buitoni
Music Scholarship. As soloist with The Jubilee Singers, he toured Europe, Asia and North
Africa under U.S. Sponsorship. Broadway audiences have seen him in "To Late the
Phalarope", "Carmen Jones", "Show Boat" and
"Jamaica". Roy has written, arranged and recorded an album called
"Ambassador of Calypso" (Request
RLP8029). In early 1959 he joined the vocal
